Nigerian Army Closed Daily Trust Office In Bornu Arrests Editor

Daily Trust went public with the supposedly raid by the Nigerian Army on the Media outlet. According to the Daily Trust the Media House was stormed by the Nigerian Army who arrested the Editor and a reporter and the Media House closed.
Armed soldiers on Sunday invaded Daily Trust regional office in Maiduguri, Borno state and arrested the regional editor, Uthman Abubakar and a reporter, Ibrahim Sawab.
The result of the action has not yet been confirm however, close source to the Daily Trust has revealed that the invasion could be related to Daily Trust participation in exposing the operation of the Army in the East.
The Nigerian Army or the relevant authorities in this matter have not yet released a statement regarding this issue as Daily Trust wailed and calls for justice for the right and press freedom in the country as a democratic Nation.
It is not yet clear as to the where about of the arrested members of Daily Trust Media House as yet the Army has refused to make any comments on that.
