North Korea's Founder of the Largest Ponography Website Jailed For 4 Years For The Distribution Of An Ilicit Materials

The production, distribution and importation of pornography is punished harshly by the government. The act of producing or importing/distributing of such materials was giving a death penalty as of 2013, while a sentencing of 3 years and above is meted out to those found in the possession of such materials.

The website was ranked first in North Korea as of 2017, and has now seen its founder jailed. The founder whose identity the North Korean Authorities refused to share with the media was charged for the offense of  distributing an illicit materials to the public, he was lucky to escaped the punishment with only a sentencing that may extend to 7 years with an initial 4 years in prison.
