Court of Appeal Ruled Against Saraki As Governorship Candidate

The Former Senate President lost the Gubernatorial to Abdul-Rahman AbdulRazaq under the banner of APC. Saraki was declared the Governorship candidate of Kwara State by the State Court, and the decision of the state court has been set aside by the court of Appeal who declared APC's Abdul-Rahman AbdulRazaq as the Governorship candidate of Kwara state
.
The decision which was widely received by the All Progressive Congress was regarded as the best possible decision to enable the state move forward in its' bid to move the state out of the self imposed leadership by those aiming to stagnate the state.

Speaking after the court decision, Mallam Lanre-Issa Onilu, APC National Publicity Secretary said; 'The ruling gives our teeming supporters and the good people of Kwara added momentum to free the state from the grip of self-appointed leaders who have held Kwara backward for years.'

Responding to questions on whether the decision of the court was aligned with by the citizen of Kwara State, Lanre Onilu said, the citizen of Kwara State are happy with the decision as this will go a long way to freeing the state and it's citizens.
