Fan Called Davido Dumb After the Famous Nigerian Musician Hints at Buhari Being the Reason for Postponing Election



The Nigerian musician  whose undying support for the former vice president of Nigeria is no secret to the public went on social media to vent his opinion regarding the postponement of the general election to February 23rd and March 9 2019.


The general election was postponed after INEC revealed that most polling units are yet to have the PVC's ready and the citizens have turned to the INEC to do something about it so as to ensure all the citizens of the Nation eligible to vote exercise their rights.

Many took to the social media to show their disappointment at the turn oif events, while some even went as far as to infer that the postponement of the election was as a result of the fact that the All Progressive Congress were not confident of winning the election as reason for the shift in date. One such person with a similar opinion is the Famous Nigerian Musician popularly known as Davido who wrote on his twitter handle that, 'There’s nothing wrong in wanting to be President for one more week .. the seat sweet. Defend your vote.

Many did not take likely to such comments as the musician was advised by many Fans to concentrate on his career instead of divulging in politics that is sure to sully his music career. A fan shoeing his displeasure for the comments made by the musician reply by saying 'Last week, I said I didn’t know you were daft. This time, I don’t know what adjective to use because this one is worse than what you said before. Let me help you sha. The president’s tenure does not end upon the conduct of election. It ends on May 29 and start a fresh tenure.'
