Manchester United Ward Off Interest As Anthony Martial Signs New Long Term Contract

Manchester United announced on Thursday that Anthony Martial has renew his contract with the club until 2024, with an option for an additional year. The winger has had his fair share of troubles with Mourinho but was just before Mourinho got the sack the most effective player on the pitch.
One can be forgiven for fearing the possibility of seeing Martial join another club which would have possibly happened had Mourinho remain at the helm. The 23 year old has made over 150 appearances for the club since joining from Monaco in 2015, and has gone on to score an amazing 46 goals for the club in all competition.


Manchester United said; 'we are pleased to announce that Anthony Martial has renew his contract with the club until 2024 with an option for an additional year. The Player himself who was rumored to be of Interests to other club like Arsenal, PSG and a return home to Monaco expressed his delight at signing new long term contract. He said,
“I am loving my time at this club.  From the day I joined I have been made to feel part of the United family and I have been incredibly humbled and overwhelmed by the warmth and love of our fans, who continue to amaze me with their support.
“I would like to thank Ole and his coaching staff for their belief in me and for helping me to take my game to the next level.  This club is all about winning trophies and I am sure the next piece of silverware is not that far away.”
His contract extension puts to rest all speculation that the talented winger will leave the club. Like many of Manchester United Squad, Martial has also benefited from Solskjaer appointment as caretaker, with Martial scoring in four of his starts since Ole Gunar took over, he will be hoping to continue his excellent form once he return from the injury that sidelined him from participating in the Burnley Game, where ManU came from 2 goal down to earn a point from a largely impressive and determine Burnley side.
