Yoruba vs Hausa: The Battle of the Grammarians
The English Intonation has become a very important part of our spoken English in Nigeria. As Nigeria is divided into so many ethnic so also is their tone of Language different from each other. The Northerners have found it difficult to pronounce the letter 'P' with no fault of theirs as the Hausa alphabets has no such letter. While the Yorubas can find their own missing letter in alphabet 'I'.
Regardless, that has not stopped one section from pointing that out to the other section, and today such battle has garnered a lot of talking on twitter as users reflects on the Intonation of the warring zones. Below are some of the reactions after an Yoruba Man pointed out to Hausa that the word is, 'Postponed' instead of 'Fosfone'.

While this may seem like a grammarian war between the Hausas and the Yorubas, some did ask what the Igbo's Intonation will be for the word 'INEC' or 'PostPoned'.And Igbo's is not erection but election— Ameen Williams (@ameenwills) February 20, 2019
