Manchester United Legends Reason for my Sack: Mourinho

Mourinhoo who finally spoke out after his sack last week but refused to comment on why he was sacked by the Man United board finally revealed the reason why he was sacked.

Speaking for the first time after being shown the door by Man United after falling out with the Stars players namely Pogba among others said that he believed the Legengs of Manchester United were the reason for his sack.

Notable names on his lists are Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand who he believed conspired against him by making various sort of criticism of his teams' performances and spreading various news about his player relationship an management.

The Portuguese’s two-and-a-half years at Old Trafford came to an end on Tuesday, after he was sacked by the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward. Mourinho who was “surprised” by the club’s decision felt the board should have given him more time, given his view that they failed to back him in the transfer market.

The 55-year-old felt his first two seasons at the club were a success, but blamed “outside negativity” from pundits like Ferdinand and Scholes, for creating a bad atmosphere at Old Trafford.

Scholes in particular has been scathing of Mourinho in recent months and said the coach was “embarrassing” the club. Mourinho refused to criticise former players in press conferences but was hugely resentful towards the likes of Scholes during his final months at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has since been placed in charge at Old Trafford on a temporary basis.
