Monaco Part Ways With Henry

Henry was appointed as the coach of Monaco with the hope that he could help the club achieve greater heights. However, the former Arsenal Legend failed his task miserable with a run of poor results which left the club in an embarrassing position.



Henry was suspended from coaching duties pending the decision to be taken for his future, and today Monaco has confirmed that it will no longer continue its relationship with the former player as coach. The club in a statement released after the sacking of the former French star disclosed to the media in aq press released that the decision was reached for the betterment of the club and the coach. ' we wish Henry all the best in his next job' said Monaco's director of Football.

Henry's appointment came after the inspiration drawn from what Zidane achieved with Real Madrid and was hoped that Henry could repeat the same feat with Monacio with whom he graduated from it's academy and became a star. The experiments obviously failed as he failed to replicate the kind tactical ability he showed as Belgium assistant coach at the 2018 World Cup where they finished 3rd.

Monaco has appointed Jardim with immediate effect. Jardim is the title winning coach that led the Monaco team Consisting of Mbape, Mendy, Falcao and many others who has since moved on to bigger club, to the club's first league crown in many years, before he was relieved of his duty after last season. Jardim is charged with the task of taking the club back to the top and salvaging the season that was destined to end in a miserable way for everyone concerned.
