Atiku Condemned the Attacks in Sokoto and Kaduna States

 

An attack was reported to have occurred at the town of Dalijan, Rakkoni and Kalhu in Rabbah Council of Sokoto and reported herdsmen attack in Kajaru town of Kaduna state. The combined attacks which claims more than 40 lives and scores injured has been condemned by the Government of Sokoto and Kaduna States respectively.

The Governor of Sokoto, His Excellency, Ahaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal speaking regarding the attacks assures the public that the perpetrators will be brought to justice. While also calling on the youths to stop violence.



Former vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar also condemned the attacks and has called on the Security agencies to up securities in the country. He said; "The loss of over 40 lives in attacks at Dalijan, Rakkoni & Kalhu in Rabah council of Sokoto & reported herdsmen attack on Kajuru, Kaduna State stands condemned. I urge security be stepped up while peace building initiatives promoted in Kajuru to stem the lingering crisis there.
