Former Governor Kwankwaso's Convoy Attacked Many Feared Dead, Scores Injured

It has been reported that the convoy of the Governor of Kano State was attacked earlier today leading to the death of supporters who were present to welcome the Governor of the state. The attack which lead to the death of some people according to the reports giving by some eye witnesses also left scores of people injured from the attack.


The  Former Governor of Kano state was in the Bebeji local government for his flag off campaign alongside the PDP Governorship candidate, Abba Yusuf before the election on Saturday 23rd of February 2019, when his convoy was attacked by hoodlums. According to the reports given by eye witnesses, the attack which was swiftly answered by the supporters of Kwankwaso leaves in it's wake death from both camps and scores of injuries on innocent people around the arear.

No Statement has yet been released by the Police department of Kano state concerning the violence. Though, this is a new development following the Independent National Electoral Commission dedication to ensuring a peaceful election come Saturday the 23rd. The re-occurrence of violence in various states of the Federation has left many in panic and in fear of their lives and the safety of their loved ones during this election.
