INEC Released Total Number Of Registered Voters and Collected PVCs for 2019 Elections

As election draws closer, the Independent National Electoral Commission has released the total number of people registered to vote including the total number of PVCs collected for the 2019 rescheduled general elections, which is to take place on Saturday, 23rd of February 2019.


The election which was rescheduled after INEC postponed the election to enable the electoral body prepare for the successful conduct of the election is set to be conducted this Saturday. INEC has called on all members of the public to refrain from using violence or indulging in any illegal activities, as INEC hoped to conduct the election in a free, fair and credible manner.

Speaking through, its Commissioner for Voters Education, Festus Okoye Esq. after the presentation of statement for the continued political campaign after the election was shifted from the 16th, of February 2019, said; 'we are calling on all members of the public to abide by the rules and regulations laid down for the successful conduct of the election.'
