Manchester United vs Liverpool: The Players have to Play with Confidence Says Solskjaer


Manchester United vs Liverpool, one of the most fierce rivalry football competition in the world of Football. Even Real Madrid vs Barcelona do not come close to the tension experienced in the clash between this two heavy weight football clubs.

While fans are waiting anxiously to see their teams play against the other with each group optimistic of their teams victory. Manchester United Interim Manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has called on caution from the players. The manager has called on his players not to underestimate their opponents based on their run of results and should instead play with confidence.


Manchester United have been in a run of good results since the Norwegian took over the mantle of leadership at the Old Trafford dugout. Manchester have recorded an eight wins, one draw and a defeat to Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League last 16 first leg. However, the Manager has called on caution from the players, he further, said the team are focused on the game and not really dwelling on the past results gotten from other games. He called on his players to concentrate on the game and ensure their grip on the fouth position is strengthen.

“For us now, it’s Liverpool so it means a little bit more but we’ve got to concentrate on getting our points ourselves and not think about Liverpool. If you get too emotional, you take your eye off the ball and think about things that don’t really matter in the 90 minutes. It’s going to be like a cup game with the tackles flying in and the temperament there and one of the better games to watch, hopefully.” He said.
