The Presidential Candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP),
Atiku Abubakar cast his vote for the 2019 Presidential election at his
home town in Ajiya Ward Yola, Adamawa state. The former vice president
of Nigeria called on Nigeria to go out and cast their own vote as
election continues in various States of the Federation.
The former vice President also called on all Nigerians to vote peacefully and refrain from using violence during the election. Speaking to the media after INEC declared today Saturday as the Election day, Atiku Abubakar said, election is not war, and no lives should be lost as a result of election. Though, he remains optimistic that he will emerge winner by the end of the election. He said; I am sure the people of Nigeria will choose to vote for the betterment of the country.
