Kenyan President Declares Attack On Hotel Complex Over - 14 Dead

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta Calls on the Citizens of Kenya to remain calm as he declared the attack on the Hotel Complex by terrorist over. He assures the general public that the Authorities will not relent in their effort to see that those perpetrators are brought to justice. The attacked which was caught on a CCTV around the premises of the complex hotel took place late Ttuesday with 14 people reported to have been killed during the attack.

Speaking to the media for the first time after the attacked the Kenyan President Kenyatta said on Wednesday that “multiple security efforts are underway to detect, deter, disrupt and defeat any terrorist operative or group.” He further stated that the authorities has moved hastingly to remove over 700 residents and guest from the hostile premises.

The attacked on the Hotel Complex was reported to have been orchestrated by the Allies of the Islamic group called Al-Qaeda. This Allies (Al-Shabab) has taken full responsibility for the attacked on the Hotel Complex which was located in the capital of Kenya, Nairobi. He said over 700 people have been evacuated to safety by rescue teams..

Once the attack started the first respond team immediately went to the rescue of the civilians in the premises, one member of the Kenyan Special Forces was injured in the process and was immediately transferred from the scene of the attack to the nearest health center in an ambulance. According to a report given by an associated press Journalist, a member of the elite known as RECCE Squad was spotted taken out of the scene of the attack in ambulance. The number of the growing security being taken out of the scene was of course not a deterrence as more security members heralded the scene of the attack and was soon able to curb the situation. The country's Police speaking to the media on the attack made on the Hotel Complex which was termed as a terrorists attack revealed that there is still remain member of the Kenyan Special Force on scene as operation continue to be in action. The Police also announced that the whole area of the Hotel which includes, Restaurant, Banks in the nearby and other building has been secured by the authorities, where sporadic gun fire continues to be heard through out the morning.
