Petr Cech To Retire From Professional Football At The End Of The Season


The Ex- Chelsea Goalkeeping Legend has announced his desire to hang up his boot by the end of the season. Peter Cech who keep the goal for Chelsea for 12 years winning 4 Premier League Medals amongst other hosts of Trophy for both club and country, joined Arsenal in the Summer of 2016. He has gone on to make more 150 appearance for Arsenal and he has now announced his desire to move away from this profession he has loyally undertaken all his life.


He posted a brief message on twitter announcing his plans to retire by the end of the season, which he regards as the 20th season of his career. While, his decision to step down from the profession has been taken lightly by the Football Legend he retained a strong desire to help Arsenal finished the season strongly and help in winning trophies for the club before he hang up his boot.

The Champion League winner with Chelsea has been backed by various fans, friends and paudits alike to finish the season strongly. Chelsea also gives their thanks to Petr Cech for wonderful contribution to the course and for his help in  bringing the Champions League Cup to England In 2012. Chelsea wrote; 'Thank you for everything Petr.'

 He may not have won the Premier League with Arsenal but he did became the most integral part of Sir Arsene Wenger's team before the Legendary boss also left his position as Arsenal Manager at the end of last season. Petr Cech will be proud of his achievement in his glistering career as he finally hangs up his boot.
