Nigerian Army Discovers Plans By Political Actors to Cause Pandemonium During Election

 

AS Election draws nearer, The Nigerian Army has been relentless in ensuring the successful conduct of this election. Speaking on Tuesday on the recent update regarding security agencies for the upcoming election, the Nigerian Army revealed that plans to sabotage the forthcoming election by some members of the political parties within it's arm has been discovered. The revelation was made in a press released, saying that the HQ 6 Div NA has uncover an unholy plan by some to sponsored miscreants to cause disorder during the election which is to take place on the 23rd of February 2019.


The Nigerian Army was quoted as saying; 'Credible intelligence available to HQ 6 Div NA has uncovered an unholy plan by some political actors within its AOR to arm and sponsor miscreants in addition to using military-like fatigue dress for deception to cause pandemonium at polling stations for their political gain.'

The Nigerian Army while promising the public of it's continued commitment to ensure a peaceful election has also called on all the public to shun violence during the election. 'The Nigerian Army and all it's parties is committed to making sure the general election is conducted without any form of violence.' the The Nigerian Army HQ was quoted as saying.

Early on Monday, the Independent National Electoral Commission speaking through it's Commissioner and Chairman for Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye Esq. enjoined all Nigerians to abide by the rules and regulations laid down for the success of this election. INEC also aligned it's supports with the security agencies of Nigeria to ensure that the election is conducted in a free, fair and credible manner.
