Mrs Ibrahim who lived at the Victoria Garden City was on Saturday pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the fire is yet to be made public. Jimoh Ibrahim was earlier involved in a struggle to rescue his mother from kidnappers after she was kidnapped and a ransom in excess of 20million Naira was demanded for her released. She was later to be released after the payment of ransom. Her son, Ibrahim Jimoh confirmed the death of his mother in US where he currently was at the time of the incident.

The Arrest which was made earlier on Sunday  after the Press TV Anchor for the Iranian English-Language TV reporter was in the United State to visit Family. The U.S. Authorities are yet to release any charges against the Journalist.
